ok, wtf is going on?
i mean, °jark has been fired by god-knows-why reasons, suddenly the community strikes backs (hey thats a nice title!)... a revolution is about to come on August 7... err, i have no idea what's goin' on.


*important notice* what i may say here from now on may be not true (better saying, pure bullshit), i dont know the insides, the "backstages". this is just my thoughts:

I mean, it seems that °jark was fired due to "economical reasons".

Now, lets just think about the money issue for a moment:

What makes this so called "company" work? Money. Like any other 'company', money is needed to make things work right.

But how do they get money?
Sure they get sponsors or what-so-ever, but there are 2 very important ways:
Prints:
Prints that are made by many artists, whom pay for the prints account, that are bought by many people, etc. So lets see: a lot of people make prints, others buys them, others helps them get more popular, so more people gets to know them... what does it looks like? a community.

Subscriber Why would you pay to be a subscriber? For more features of course! And what features are these? A better way to browse through galleries, exclusive forums, easier way to answer comments, etc. Where is it all connected? Art and the community.

So, even thinking exclusively on financial reasons, we cannot let the community behind. Like what °jark said: "Without community there is no deviantART". The entire basis of this site is a community of artists showing their artwork, sharing their opinion, etc.

But they (the staff) left the community behind.
°jark was fired!! The greatest "icon", the one who is most related to deviantART, the one who was most dedicated to deviantART was fired!!!
But why? I honestly dont know, and it seems they didn't get into details! Did they really not "understand that there is a community here, not mere customers"? It makes no sense! I mean, it comes against the entire purpose of this website.

No offences but, that wasnt very intelligent, was it? I mean, look what happened! The community didnt accept it! Many artist are saying they wont upload anything else! They want jark back! I want jark back! what has been done wasn't fair, i honestly can't accept that a person can't work on something HE FOUNDED.

I'm looking forward to August 7th.
I'm really curious about whats going to happen:
1) Will everything be cleared?
2) Will the community strikes back?
3) Will DA turns yellow?
4) And what will happen with °jark?
